Basementworld Records

Basementworld Records, a non profit indie label.  Okay...not intentionally non profit however effectively non profit.  
The goal of Basementworld Records is to have fun creating, recording and distributing music of artists who may not otherwise be heard. 
The inspiration to form Basementworld Records came from the time I spent in 2015-2017 creating and working with a music group within a women's prison. 
Along with mentors from the incarcerated population and a music therapist we taught music, had songwriting workshops and performed showcases (with a full band) for inmates and visitors approximately 5x a year.
